1. Overview
Morsberg is aware that fraudulent actors may attempt to impersonate Morsberg, its employees, or its representatives in order to deceive individuals and organisations. This notice describes how Morsberg communicates with its clients and prospective clients, and provides guidance on identifying and reporting fraudulent or suspicious activity.
If you receive any communication purporting to be from Morsberg that does not conform to the standards described in this notice, treat it as fraudulent and do not act on it.
2. Official Communication Channels
All legitimate email communications from Morsberg originate exclusively from addresses ending in @morsberg.com. Morsberg does not send official business correspondence from any other domain, including free email providers, lookalike domains, or any domain that is not morsberg.com. If you receive an email claiming to be from Morsberg from any other domain, it is not from us.
Morsberg does not conduct official client business, sales outreach, contract negotiations, or payment discussions through social media platforms, messaging applications, or any channel other than email at an @morsberg.com address or through arrangements expressly established in a signed agreement. Any approach made via LinkedIn, Telegram, WhatsApp, X, Instagram, Facebook, or similar platforms is not an official Morsberg communication, regardless of how it is presented.
3. Payments and Financial Requests
Morsberg will never solicit payment from you outside of a formal invoicing process tied to a signed agreement. All payment instructions are issued by Morsberg through official email at an @morsberg.com address and reference a specific engagement and invoice number. Morsberg does not request payment via peer-to-peer transfer services, gift cards, wire transfers to ad hoc accounts, or any informal channel.
If you receive a request for payment that does not match the invoicing process established under your agreement with Morsberg, or that arrives via any channel other than official email, do not transfer any funds. Contact us directly at [email protected] to verify before taking any action.
Morsberg will never ask you to make urgent or time-sensitive payments under pressure, change existing payment details via an unverified communication, or transfer funds to a third party as an intermediary on behalf of Morsberg.
4. Requests for Credentials or Access
Morsberg will never ask you to share passwords, account credentials, two-factor authentication codes, private keys, or access tokens via email, messaging, or any informal channel. If access to your systems is legitimately required as part of an engagement, it will be arranged through a formally agreed process documented in writing.
Do not provide credentials or system access to anyone claiming to represent Morsberg if the request is made outside of a formally agreed access procedure. If you are uncertain whether a request is legitimate, contact us directly before responding.
5. Job Offers and Recruitment
Morsberg does not make job offers, request fees in connection with employment, or ask applicants to purchase equipment or software as part of a recruitment process. Any communication claiming to offer employment at Morsberg and requesting payment, gift cards, or bank account details for any reason is fraudulent.
Legitimate recruitment communications from Morsberg will originate from an @morsberg.com email address and will not request any financial information or payments at any stage of the process.
6. How to Verify a Morsberg Communication
If you are uncertain whether a communication is genuinely from Morsberg, you should:
- Check that the sender's email address ends exactly in @morsberg.com — not a variation, lookalike, or forwarded address.
- Do not click links or download attachments from unexpected or suspicious messages before verifying.
- Contact Morsberg directly at [email protected] using contact details from our official website — not contact details provided in the suspicious communication itself.
- If the communication relates to an active engagement, contact your established Morsberg point of contact through a previously verified channel.
7. Reporting Suspected Fraud or Impersonation
If you have received a communication you suspect is fraudulent or involves impersonation of Morsberg, please report it to us at [email protected]. Please include as much detail as possible, including the content of the communication, the sender details, and any associated phone numbers, domains, or account names.
Morsberg cooperates with relevant authorities in connection with fraud and impersonation incidents affecting its clients or its brand. Reporting suspicious activity helps us identify and address fraud more quickly.
8. Limitation of Liability
Morsberg bears no responsibility for losses incurred as a result of fraudulent communications made by third parties impersonating Morsberg. Morsberg is not a party to any agreement, transaction, or commitment arising from such communications. If you have transferred funds or disclosed information in response to a fraudulent communication, you should contact your financial institution and relevant local authorities as promptly as possible.
